| What We Do |
Our PhilosophyOur staff share a passion for the game that is transferred through to all participants. Players will be allowed to express themselves, play without fear of making mistakes, be encouraged to make their own decisions in sessions and discover the joy of football. We create a safe, open and positive learning environment, create opportunities for players to become active learners, giving them ownership of their problem solving and decision making processes. Activity is directed to the developmental age of the participant. Programs will be challenging but achievable, guaranteeing that each child leaves our course with a raised self esteem and most importantly experienced fun and enjoyment. Understand that all children learn in different ways and our coaches are trained in delivering our syllabus to all types of personalities and abilities so that each player can achieve their highest potential. Football SkillsOur training consists of regular weekly skills sessions for 4-11yr olds and a Saturday 5 a side Futbol Sala games programme for 5-11 yr olds, which is based on the one used across Spain. Throughout the year we organise friendly games for our U'7 to U'11 groups against other quality soccer schools and Academy teams. We also take these age groups to domestic and elite tournaments across the UK & Europe. Our games and tournament programme means our boys are exposed to top UK and European standards of football. Whilst this is a great experience on the pitch, the sense of team spirit and responsibility are great life lessons and this is often commented on by parents of the players. All our skills sessions are indoors with a maximum class size of 24 with two qualified coaches. Our Futbol Sala games are played either indoors or on astroturf with no more than 5 a side, the use of futsals and a strict no slide tackling rule for all our children. Our structure is based upon the following: Little Amigo’s indoor skills schools every week for 4-6 yrs
